Katie Campbell is head of Retirement and institutional product strategy. She is responsible for driving the development of innovative product ideas on behalf of the Defined Contribution, Insurance, Institutional, and 529 channels. Since joining Franklin Templeton, Ms. Campbell has been specifically engaged in the firm's Retirement Income product innovation efforts with strategic partners. Additionally, Katie drives product strategy on behalf of Retail distribution in the models space.
Ms. Campbell began her career in the financial services industry in 2007 and joined Franklin Templeton Investments in 2019. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton, she was a managing director of Product Strategy at AllianceBernstein (AB) where she led a number of product initiatives across the firm's equity, fixed income, and multi-asset product lineups. She also focused on strategic efforts to develop AB's retirement and defined contribution offerings. Prior to that Ms. Campbell worked for General Electric (GE).
Ms. Campbell earned a BSc in Engineering & Management and a minor in Technical Communications from Clarkson University, where she held a number of roles on the Alumni Board, including President. She is currently a member of the Clarkson Board of Trustees. She is a licensed FINRA Series 7 representative and active participant of the DCIIA organization among other financial forums.Katie currently resides in Stamford, Connecticut. In her free time, she enjoys golf, paddle boarding, and spending time with family in upstate New York.
