Jean Yu, CFA, PhD

Jean is a Portfolio Manager and member of the Global Value Equity investment team at ClearBridge Investments. She co-manages numerous global and international strategies. She joined ClearBridge in 2014 and the investment industry in 2002.

Prior to joining ClearBridge, Jean was a Portfolio Manager at Legg Mason Capital Management, which completed its integration into ClearBridge in 2014; Research Analyst at Legg Mason Capital Management, covering the health care sector, as well as transportation logistical companies, industrial gas, and Chinese internet stocks; and a Senior Business Analyst, managing consulting projects for Fortune 50 clients in the pharmaceutical industry at ISO Health Care Group.

Jean received a Ph.D. in molecular biology from Columbia University, an M.B.A. in health sector management and finance from Duke University, and an M.D. from Beijing Medical University. She is also a member of the CFA Institute.
