Mark Hebeka is a vice president of Franklin Templeton Distributors, Inc., and is responsible for business development of Franklin Templeton Investments' asset management services, specifically developing and maintaining relationships with research and model teams at many of the firm's largest retail relationships. Mark's responsibilities include establishing relationships and helping communicate Franklin Templeton's investment insights to research teams at various broker dealers and private banks in the United States.
Prior to joining Franklin Templeton Investments, Mark was vice president at American Century Investments focused on platform development with numerous broker dealers, RIAs and insurance companies. In this role Mark was charged with driving new research list recommendations and discretionary model allocations on client platforms. Prior to his time at American Century, Mark worked at Merrill Lynch as head of their Portfolio Strategies Desk that created and marketed investment strategies for most products across all platforms. The team also produced 50+ publications per month providing market commentary and implementation ideas to thousands of financial professionals. During his career, Mark has also held various roles at Prudential Equity Group and Standard & Poor's Equity Research where he was quoted in many major financial media outlets and appeared on CNBC, Bloomberg, and Nightly Business Report.
Mark holds a B.A. in accounting from Muhlenberg College. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder and maintains FINRA Series 7, 24, and 63 licenses.
