Jeff Masom is Head of U.S. Distribution and Global Wealth Management Alternatives at Franklin Templeton. In this capacity, he leads the firm's U.S. retail wealth, institutional, insurance, and retirement businesses, as well as product strategy and sales enablement. He also spearheads Franklin Templeton's global private markets distribution strategy across wealth management, encompassing sales, investor relations, and product development. Mr. Masom is a member of the firm's Executive Committee and serves on the corporate boards of Clarion Partners and Western Asset Management.

With over 30 years of experience in asset management, Mr. Masom has consistently delivered innovative investment solutions tailored to client needs. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton in August 2020, he was Global Head of Institutional Distribution at RBC Global Asset Management, following a 20-year tenure at Legg Mason where he served as Senior Managing Director and Head of U.S. Sales. At Legg Mason, he held a range of leadership roles across distribution, product innovation, and retirement solutions, with oversight of all national account channels including retail, DCIO, sub-advisory, private bank, RIA, bank trust, family office, and institutional segments.

Mr. Masom holds a Bachelor of Arts from Elizabethtown College and a Juris Doctor from Delaware Law School. He is a CFA charterholder and has passed the bar in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey. He serves on the advisory committee for UniFi by CAIA and is a member of the Miracle Maker Leadership Council. He is also an active supporter of the Expect Miracles Foundation, which mobilizes the financial services industry in the fight against cancer, and serves on the board of Living Classrooms, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth through hands-on education and workforce development.
