Jaap Willems

Jaap Willems is a senior quantitative research analyst and portfolio manager for Templeton Global Macro, as well as co-head of global macro ESG. He co-manages the sustainable emerging markets bond strategy, while also focusing on portfolio construction and management of separate accounts. Jaap performs quantitative research into market structure, trends and regimes and oversees the team's ESG process.

Jaap joined Franklin Templeton in 2015 after working in investment risk and actuarial/asset liability management roles in Europe and Singapore.

He holds a B.S. in international economics and a M.S. in business administration from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands.
